- “User(s)”: Refers to any individual browsing the Site and/or using its services
3. Access and Use of the Site
– General
The Site is accessible from any location, provided that the minimum technical requirements are met, particularly regarding mobile network, Internet access, and the technical compatibility of the user’s device.
With the exception of any fees for phone and Internet access charged by the User’s provider, access to the Site is free and requires no prior registration or subscription. The equipment (computer, laptop, smartphone, tablet, software, telecommunications means, etc.) enabling access to the Site is the sole responsibility of the User, as are any communication and Internet access costs resulting from its use.
By accessing and using the Site, the User agrees to:

– Inserting Hyperlinks
A User who owns a personal, non-commercial website is allowed to insert one or more simple hyperlinks leading to the homepage of the Site, provided that the Site appears in a distinct, non-framed manner within the User’s website.
This authorization does not in any way constitute an implicit affiliation agreement, recommendation contract, advertising contract, partnership, or any formal or informal agreement between CEETRUS and the User.
This permission is granted on a non-exclusive, revocable basis at any time without justification and is subject to the condition that such links do not harm the Site or CEETRUS in any way.
CEETRUS reserves the right to object to and moderate hyperlinks. Specifically, CEETRUS may prohibit any link from a website that it deems inappropriate, misleading, or fraudulent, without such prohibition incurring any liability.
In any case, any authorized link must be removed immediately upon request from CEETRUS.
CEETRUS cannot control all websites accessible via the Internet, and the use of a link to CEETRUS’s Site from a third-party website should not be construed as an endorsement of that site’s content.
CEETRUS will make every effort to remove any disputed content once it becomes aware of it.
4. Intellectual Property
All content presented on the Site (including the architecture and design, trademarks, logos, graphics, drawings, photographs, animations, videos, and text, as well as the software code and any downloadable documents) may be protected by copyright and/or other intellectual property or related rights. Such content may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, downloaded, modified, edited, reused, redirected, or exploited in any way or on any medium without the prior written authorization of the relevant intellectual property rights holders.
In particular, any full or partial reproduction of elements from the Site protected by copyright, without proper authorization, may constitute infringement under Article L.335-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code.

Databases created by CEETRUS are protected by copyright as well as by the French law of July 1, 1998, which transposes the European Directive of March 11, 1996, on the legal protection of databases into the French Intellectual Property Code. Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, translation, and/or modification—whether partial or total—and any substantial extraction, whether qualitative or quantitative, to another website, not expressly authorized, is punishable under Articles L.343-4 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code.
Access to the Site does not confer any intellectual property rights or related rights to the User.
CEETRUS grants Users only a limited license to view content. Reproduction rights are reserved and only permitted in digital form on the device used to access and use the Site (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.) for the sole purpose of viewing pages using the User’s browser.
By uploading content to the Site, the User automatically grants CEETRUS a license to use that content as needed to manage the Site, worldwide and for the duration necessary for Site operation.
The User also declares that the copyright being granted does not infringe on the rights of third parties and is not subject to any claims.
The User agrees to indemnify CEETRUS against any claims of any kind that may arise concerning the rights granted, whether under intellectual property law, image rights, unfair competition, or parasitism. The User undertakes to reimburse CEETRUS for any sums it may be ordered to pay in this regard.
5. CEETRUS’s Liability
– General Provisions
CEETRUS cannot be held liable or considered in breach of these Terms and Conditions of Use in case of delay or non-performance caused by an event of force majeure, as defined by French court rulings. This includes interruptions, suspensions, reductions, or disruptions related to the functioning of electronic communication networks.
In any case, CEETRUS’s liability is limited strictly to actions directly attributable to it in its capacity as the Site Publisher.
– Access to and Availability of the Site
The Site and its functionalities are available from any location, provided the User meets the minimum technical requirements, especially in terms of mobile network access, Internet connection, and device compatibility.
The Site is, in principle, accessible 24/7, except during maintenance operations or technical issues. However, CEETRUS does not guarantee uninterrupted or flawless operation of the Site and its functionalities, and disclaims any liability for, including but not limited to:
- Site interruptions due to technical maintenance or updates;
- Temporary inability to access the Site (and/or related websites or apps) due to technical issues, regardless of their origin;
- Network unavailability, overload, or any other reason preventing proper mobile network access to the Site;
- Potential contamination by viruses circulating on the network;
- Any direct or indirect damages suffered by the User as a result of accessing or using the Site (and/or its related websites or apps);
- Abnormal use or illegal exploitation of the Site;
- Alteration of the User’s account, loss of login credentials, or identity theft.
– Site Content
CEETRUS does not guarantee that the Site and its features will meet Users’ expectations. The Site serves as a showcase website and is intended solely to provide information about CEETRUS’s activities. Users should not expect any services beyond that.
Subject to mandatory legal provisions, the information published on the Site is for general guidance only and does not engage CEETRUS’s liability, even in case of damage arising from its interpretation or use. This information may be updated, modified, or deleted by CEETRUS at any time without notice.
Although content directly published by CEETRUS on the Site is considered reliable, it may contain inaccuracies or errors (technical, typographical, etc.), which CEETRUS reserves the right to correct as soon as they are identified.
Under Article 6 of French Law No. 2004-575 of June 21, 2004, on confidence in the digital economy, CEETRUS qualifies as a provider of public online communication services for any content published by Users. Therefore, CEETRUS is not responsible for such content and is not required to monitor it, in accordance with Article L.32-3-3 of the French Post and Electronic Communications Code.
CEETRUS emphasizes that any hyperlinks placed on the Site may redirect Users to other websites or applications independent of the Site. These external links do not imply any endorsement by CEETRUS. While CEETRUS strives to link only to sites that meet its quality standards, it cannot be held liable for any damages resulting from access to or use of third-party content.
Likewise, CEETRUS cannot be held liable for hyperlinks placed by Users as per the “ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SITE” section of these Terms.
CEETRUS commits, in accordance with legal requirements, to promptly remove any illegal content once properly notified.
Users can report unlawful content found on the Site to CEETRUS via mail or email as indicated in the Site’s Legal Notice, or via the contact form. Such reports must comply with Article 6.I-5 of Law No. 2004-575 of June 21, 2004, allowing CEETRUS to gain effective knowledge of the reported content.
6. User Liability
Use of the Site and its content is under the sole and entire responsibility of the User, who shall bear all consequences arising therefrom, without any possibility of holding CEETRUS liable in any manner or pursuing any recourse against it.
The User is solely responsible for the information communicated via the Site.
In the event of abnormal use or unlawful exploitation of the Site, the User shall be solely liable for any damages caused to third parties and for any consequences resulting from complaints or legal actions.
The User also agrees not to bring any claims against CEETRUS or any company in its group in the event of proceedings initiated by a third party due to the User’s use or unlawful exploitation of the Site.
In general, the User agrees to comply with all laws and regulations in force in France.

8. Severability
These Terms and Conditions of Use represent the entire agreement between the User and CEETRUS regarding use of the Site.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be null, invalid, or unenforceable for any reason, the affected term(s) shall be deemed nonexistent. The remaining provisions shall retain their full force and effect and remain applicable.
The invalidated terms shall be replaced with provisions that most closely reflect the content and intent of the original clause.
9. Governing Law – Language
The official language of these Terms and Conditions of Use is French. In case of discrepancies, inconsistencies, or conflicts between the French version and a translated version, the French version shall prevail.
These Terms and Conditions of Use are governed exclusively by French law.
Any disputes arising from the performance or interpretation of these Terms shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, unless otherwise required by law or regulation.
10. Photo Credits
The photos used on the Site are the exclusive property of CEETRUS, operating under the trade name CEETRUS.
Any unauthorized reuse may give rise to compensation claims by CEETRUS.
